Swamiji says that the denizens of the world practice different religions. One’s religion is known the very moment one takes birth. It behoves a person to follow the tenets of his religion sincerely and, since the essence of all religions is one and the same …to walk the path of honesty and goodness … he should do so with determination and great resolve.

The golden principles of one’s religion … truthfulness, honesty and integrity … can, and should inspire him to lay the foundation of his life based on similar sound values.

The teachings of one’s religion… equality of mankind, faith and devotion in God, to live in an honest manner and to be truthful… educate him to realise that his sacred duty is to understand, imbibe and implement the instructions of his religion and follow the Noble Path with belief and zeal.

It is said that God resides where women are revered and respected.

Women have always played a pivotal role in our society. It is vital for us to understand the strength and power of women. The extraordinary strength that women posses can be surmised from the simple example given below. Man cries out in pain on suffering the discomfort caused by a minor stone problem. In sharp contrast, a woman bears her child in her womb for nine months and endures gut -wrenching labour pain with great tolerance and forbearance.
Man should learn from women the art of smiling through every adversity, develop the amazing ability to face every crisis confidently and learn to accept sorrow and grief with fortitude.
The ease, elan and grace with which she plays the myriad roles of raising and taking care of her family, making society cultured and refined or imparting education is remarkable and noteworthy.

In modern times, women have played leading, monumental roles in all professions and all walks of life . A woman is a symbol of power. The onus of her safety, security and well-being lies purely with the society of which she is an integral part.

हमारे समाज में नारी की अत्यन्त सशक्त भूमिका रही है । नारीशक्ति की प्रबलता को पहचानना परम् आवश्यक है ।
एक सूक्ष्म सा उदाहरण है कि एक इंसान छोटी सी पथरी होने से भी दर्द से कहरा उठता है और उस पीड़ा को सह नहीं पाता । वहीं एक नारी अपने पेट मे 9 मास तक शिशु को रखती है और सारे कष्ट व प्रसव पीड़ा को सहजतापूर्ण वहन कर लेती है ।
हर दुःख दर्द, तकलीफ को सहकर, मुस्कुराते हुए जीवन को आगे बढ़ाना नारी से सीखा जा सकता है ।
परिवार को सम्भालने से लेकर समाज को सभ्य बनाना हो या शिक्षा का ज्ञान बाँटना हो, सब कुछ नारी बड़ी सुगमता से संयोजित कर लेती है ।

आज के आधुनिक युग में प्रत्येक क्षेत्र में नारी की भूमिका अग्रणीय रहती है ।
नारी जननी है, सृष्टि में शक्ति का प्रतीक है ।
सर्वदा, सर्वत्र नारी का सम्मान हो ।
नारी की आन, बान व शान की जिम्मेदारी का दायित्व सम्पूर्ण समाज व हरेक व्यक्ति का कर्तव्य है ।

Man by nature is essentially good. The goodness inherent in him makes him feel that every other man that he interacts with and meets too, is undoubtedly good, honest and reliable. He happily reposes unconditional trust and faith in others around him. But what if the trust and faith that he has placed in the other person is betrayed? The deception by the other person was so devious and well–planned that before he could get a whiff of it, this simple person was wiped out, destroyed! What will happen when he sees the myth of goodness that he had created, comes crashing on him? It could certainly happen this way! Nothing is guaranteed in life! How will he react then? Will he be able to ever trust any other person and forget a betrayal most vile and dishonest? It is but natural for him to react in a manner expected of him…typical…governed by rage, anger and hatred. All these negative emotions can blind him to such an extent that the love and trust that he had nurtured for the other person, earlier, could unfortunately be replaced with a feeling of vengeance. He will spend hours in planning out ways and means of getting back at the other person.

It is during a time period as trying and tiring as this, that this good person should not let the quality of goodness in him, fade away at any cost. Irrespective of the heart-break, grief, misery, shock caused to him personally, he must stand by the positive traits that he has been blessed with and behave in a manner befitting him.

It becomes imperative for him to forgive the other person because if he doesn’t do so he will end up harming himself all the more. As it is, he has already lost everything…He will lose out, further, on the priceless quality of goodness…the greatest wealth that he possesses, if he behaves in a manner similar to that was exhibited by the other person. It is here that he must restrain himself from allowing negative emotions to rule over him, and be generous and magnanimous by forgiving the other person, thereby, not doing anything wrong from his side, and continue to walk on the path of righteousness and goodness, undisturbed and unaffected. He should not stop being a good and honest person just because he was let down by one person.
